  8. List the contents of the specified directory on the console.  If
  9. no argument is given, the current directory is listed.

  11. Note that this command works by first listing the directory into
  12. a temporary file, and then creating a 'more' session to display
  13. it.  After this completes, the temporary file is deleted.
